Notice of Termination My tenancy agreement comes to an end in May and i recieved my two months notice of termination the other day, although when i took on the property last year the agent said that i would be allowed to renew it, as it belongs to an estate. If I was told i could not renew the property i wouldnt of taken it out in the first place.
I phoned the estate manager to ask why the property was being taken back, an he said that it was now required for the lords use.
I then went to see the lord to discuss the matter, and he stated that in fact it is not for his own use but to put an estate worker in, The person they want to move in is not employed by the estate but is actually a sub contracted plumber.
The agent is not arla or oea registered so i cannot go to them for advice.
Is this allowed, surely they can not evict "person A" to move in "person B". Wouldnt they have to have a valid reason, e.g. We havent paid the rent, or are a nuisence.
Could some one please help.
Thanks
