Only moved into my new flat last week which was painfull because there was an incorrect CCJ on my file so i had to jump through hoops to get that removed and convince the letting agents I wasnt a lying scamp. Anyway, just received a letter from Alliance and Leicester to the occupier of my new flat saying that proceedings for possession of the property have commenced and the court date is 7th Jan. I'm not too worried about finding somewhere new to live despite the letting agents being useless. However not sure what the usual proceedure is in these matters and was after a bit of advice. Ideally I'd like to get out now because i wanted to get a phone line/sky etc connected and its pointless if I have to move in Jan. Any advice or pointers? I'm sure there have been loads of similar posts on this matter but had a quick look and get confused on the jargon! Thanks Tom
