Default Section 8 Eviction notice.
Does anyone know if there is an example/template of a section 8 notice, I have looked but cannot find one.

My BIL's tennant is now 11 weeks behind with the rent, is working and cannot claim HB, but says there is nothing my BIL can do about it, he is also now being very agressive when my BIL try's to collect the rent. (BIL collects money weekly in person as was agreed) He's claiming to have squatters rights.

There is a tenancy agreement but is just one of the standard ones you get from the post office, will this make any difference?

Any help appreciated.

Scotcall CCA issued 16/01/07. Criminal offence committed.
HFC Prelim sent 16/01/07. LBA sent- Final Correspondance issued with time limit of 29/03/07.

How long has he lived there, and what was the fixed term of the tenancy? Section 21 is preferable if it is possible. As for Section 8, it has been years since I have used one, but I think it is a prescribed form - could be wrong!

A section 8 notice is known officially as a "Notice of seeking possession" and must be in the prescribed form. When served, it is valid for 12 months.

This form is available from Law Stationers.

Try Heffers Legal Stationers at 20 Trinity Street Cambridge CB2 1TY. Phone them on 01223-568568 and order it over the phone using your credit card.
