Join Date: Mar 2007 Posts: 284	What does a transfer mean and a bit of a rant Hi Still having problems with my landlord He has said he will do the repairs after receivng notification form teh council but is trying to justify the state of the place by saying I am untidy which is true but untidy does not put holes in walls - basically at every turn he uses that to justify not doing anything. He is also trying to cliam that he did not know about thestate of the litchen - absolute bollcoks he has known for years I owe over two months rent and he has threatened a notice to quit if I don't calm down - I want to go - just want to make sure I can do it in a more controlled manner He also went on and on about how can we do anything if we can't get in - errr he can provided I get notice but apparently daring not to be a home when he decides to call round unexpectedly is a reasonble excuse not to do anything oh yes and a pre-arranged appointment means ringing up after he has already broken in - which he denies - just a load of lies all the time and apparently me being untidy - AGAIN is the root of all evil - its actually none of his damned business how I choose to live so long as it doesn't damage his property What he is trying to do is bully me into saying that he hasn't ever entered the property illegally - which won't happen. I will not back down - he is the criminal for entering illegally untidy is not illegal _ I will risk the notice to quit and get a solicitor involved although when I mentioned that he was quite aggressive and said fine we will play it that way The solicitor I am going to see has two ways of dealing with disrepair - do you want compensation or do you want a move. I am going in to talk to them about a transfer on Friday - I was wondering if anyone knows exactly what it means __________________ If you can keep you head when all of those around you are losing theirs try parking your helicopter somewhere else The PPI Saga
