Manchester Met Problems Just looking for a bit of advice on the Manchester Metro
I always buy a week pass or a ticket for every time i travel, bit about a week ago i didnt have my pass, but had £10 to buy my ticket, and the machine at the station i get on wasnt accepting notes (which is a regular occurence) so i thought i didnt have time to walk 20 mins to egt a pas from the shop or i would be late for work, so i got on the met with my £10 a thought if i get stopped i will just explain the situation and pay for my ticket, and halfway through my journey i got stopped, explained the situation and offered to pay my fare £2.50, to which the attendent, took my £10 didnt give me any change and gave me a reciept for my fare (which stated the fare is only £2.50) so i know its not much but surely she is not in the right to do that and not give me any change, as it doesnt state anywhere that its payment for a fixed penalty, it jsut states that they recieved payment for the fare, but then didnt give me my £7.50 change. So any tips on what i can write in the letter to claim my money back, i have copies of all my tickets and passes i usually buy.
