Default RedVixen and Lloyds PPI

Two things actually

In June/July 2001 I had a graduate loan rescheduled. It was a 10,000 loan - now I agreed to PPI

In October 2001 I became a post graduate researcher - registered Student. Lloyds were fully aware of this since I asked for Student status on my bank account which they refused - would PPI of payed out if I had left the course early?

Secondy towards the end of my funding period I realised that I would mosty likely be taking a pay cut - so I tried to consolidate as much of my debt as possible into one loan so themonthy payments would be less - lloyds agreed to consolidate the debt I had with them. At the time PPI was discussed and I was told it wouldn't pay up as I was a student so I stated I didn't want it I was supposed to get a letter detailing the discussion and why PPI had not been added - no letter but PPI was included on the loan - when I later went into a branch to complain about this - by then studentship had ended and I was temping - I was assured that PPI would pay up so stupidly I dedicded to leave it - i am still temping but have paid the loan for over 2 years now - I want to cancel is as it is clearly too expensive - would they pay up as I am temping because if not I have now been lied to three times by lloyds employees

Hello,

Please have a look at what the fsa are saying

Consumers to benefit from PPI refunds agreement

IMHO you have stated that you feel that the have lied to you 3 times. I would first cancel the ppi and then start the process of reclaiming back the payment you have given to them for nothing.

When you start this just wait for the rest of the lies they tell you
