Hello good folks. I am having a battle with Direct Line, trying to convince them that I was
not informed at the time of taking out two seperate loans that the sale of PPI was optional. They are adamant that no miss selling took place and I had the opportunity to cancel the PPI when I received a copy of my agreement. Blah !! I was told that as my credit rating was poor I could not have the loan unless PPI was taken out at the same time.
However if I could find evidence that their staff received incentives for pushing PPI I might stand a better chance if I go to court on this one.
So, I would like to know if Direct Line personnel were paid commission or a bonus for the sale of PPI like RBS and NatWest who are part of the same trading group.
Can anyone help
please, as I feel that I'm banging my head against a brick wall when dealing with Direct Line.

Cheers DAVID P.
