Default Reclaiming Back PPI from Yes Car and Bank of Scotland

Have sent Direct Auto Finance a Data Protection Act for a car that I paid off last year and I am guessing the PPI was worth much more than the car which has now been scrapped.
My thinking is that this should easy enough to prove as any one who has dealt with Yes Car will know how they make you take the insurances.
Also my husband had only been working for a couple of weeks and I am sure they would have to had lied about that on the form.

The other Data Protection Act is to Bank of Scotland (Retail Finance) any one dealt with this lot.
we found out that there was a Mortgage Shortfall of £19,000 on our mortgage even although the mortgage was only for 30,000 and they had sold the house.
Anyway we were desparate because we were needing to buy another home and when my husband called Eversheds (their lawyers) - they very 'kindly' said that they would accept £5,000 and put him onto Bank of Scotland (Retail Finance) and we got a loan no problem. Surprise.
Obviously he was desparate to get this loan and cannot remember how the PPI went but to date we have paid about a year on the loan and still owe them nearly 7K.
I have wrote them a dispute letter and await the Data Protection Act information.
What I know for sure is that when the courier arrived with the forms the last thing on our minds was PPI and we signed the forms in about 30 seconds so there was no way we understood anything about the PPI.

Will also be sending for Data Protection Act on 1st mortgage because all this is tied in with Bank of Scotland and I believe that my home was repossessed partly due to bank charges at that time.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
