Angry Payment Protection Plan...

Hi there...

Has anybody had any joy with getting a copy of the original agreement signed for a credit card. As a rule I don't ask for PPP and have been charged by Crap One since I've the card. That adds up. My husband too on his card with BC. My ears pricked up when I heard Martin Lewis talking about it.

Any advice on this one?

Many thanks

Am also experiencing problems with Egg. Took out Credit Card with them in 2000 but never used ....in 2005 offered 0% interest deal which I used. I've never accepted any PPI on any card from anyone over the last 30years as I'm self-employed and diabetic for last 18 years. Unknown to me Egg have been applying PPI saying I ticked an online box when I applied for the card. 25 emails & letters later Egg wash their hands so I get the Financial Ombudsman service involved. He says they can't prove that I signed anything as it's so long ago although they have told me in writing that they have to and did send me a policy and acceptance document which I signed and returned to them!!!!!!!! I'm now waiting for the Ombudsman to reconsider his thoughts so far. I'll keep this forum posted but encourage anyone with this problem to take it to Ombudsman and not allow Egg and others to hope you'll go away...........
