| | Platinum Account Customer | Re: Reid vs GE Money / Purpleloans Going to Court Hi Alibobsy,
As I group are now part of GE Money Home Lending you should deal with GE Money, Or I will rephrase that you should try and Communicate with GE Money but no doubt you will find it a pretty 1 sided Conversation.
As you will see from post 97 GE have a company policy on treating Customers fairly, Sadly I think the person responsible for writing up that load of drivel forgot to send it out to their staff, which does not at all surprise me as GE's Communication skills leave a lot to be desired, well that is if you are complaining to them, But if it is the other way around it is a differnet story alltogether.
Having done a good bit of digging around on GE, and maybe a bit of a comfort is, that it is not only in the UK that this outfit use their company size to bully and Ignore customers, it seems to be a worldwide thing. (try Google GE and court cases or complaints, you will find a good few results which makes for some good reading. (even found ref to my cases on Google..lol)
Once you are ready to start on them give us a shout on here and we will muck in and help out..

| Re: Reid vs GE Money / Purpleloans Going to Court Hello Reidnet and anyone else reading this
You wont know me with my new login, but I used to be on here Feb\March as "Danielles Mum" (but I lost my login and couldn't get back on).
I have posted on CAG before about my total distain for GE Money\Purple Loans.
After sending them 12 letters from Feb this year onwards (from the time I settled my secured loan) I have (like a complete mug!) given them all this time and every opportunity to put things right, which they havent.
This week is the week I WILL AND MUST submit a claim. It's keeping my awake at night now, and I am so stressed with all this, I want to cry while I am typing this. : (
My claim is for missold PPI (I didnt even know I had signed up for it until I settled my secured loan), and also some unlawful charges, I havent mentioned ERC, but that should probably be in there somewhere as well.
Having not been on here for a while, I have just reread this thread and others to get back up to speed, and think you are all extremely brave and I am very grateful to all the information on here.
If anyone has a spare 5 minutes and is kind enough to PM me I would be grateful, because I am starting to get very scared now and need to get my court stuff filled in.

| | Basic Account Customer | Re: Reid vs GE Money / Purpleloans Going to Court Hi all
I recently returned from the Republic of Ireland after 6 years away. I bought a car on HP from GE Money Ireland. Before Leaving i telephoned them to ask if i could bring the car back to the uk and continue payments. where i was told no problem and given the bank details to do this. So i set up a standing order to there account using my agreemant no. so first payment from UK was in Feb 07, checked my bank and it had bounced back so i phoned the call centre in Ireland to advise. Where i was then called a theif and told to return the car immediatly. they some how have no record of the call even though i gave them a time and date. I have since called them over a dozen time and was told i would recieve a phone call ( Which never came suprise suprise) so in aug 07 i recieved a letter of termination for the vehicle telling me to return it to Ireland. I have since tried more than a dozen times to contact them with no luck. I have retrieved the MD home address and will send a letter direct to her which usually gets the job done .I will keep you posted |

Nope still no Joy, Just the usual from GE Money and Evershed.. Maybe one day though Either GE Money or Eversheds will do 1 simple thing...and they may even send the reply to the proper address, As they seem to have the habit of sending copies to the wrong court..lol ( bet Amy is going to be doing some checking now.. ) Answer the Questions that I have asked them... Oh and please dont answer my questions with a question... If not Im sure I will look forward to hearing all your answers in Court in December...
