Shabbey CC PPI - cancelled 22-Nov

In 2002 I got a Shabbey credit card with PPI I filled in the form but the PPI was never explained to me nor do I know what it does and does not cover I suspect I was in temp employment at the time. I called Shabbey credit cards last week and cancelled the PPI and the woman I spoke to was none too please about it (tough!!) as she pointed out several times the money is not protected, any advise if it is possible to get a refund of PPI.

ps also asked for a copy of the original agreement to see what I ticked in the box, she said no problem copy on its way but I'm still waiting?

It has been missold if you cannot claim on it, there are a number of reasons set out as to why you should be exempt, temp employment is one of them unless you are on a long term contract or at least 6 month renewable contract.

Hi,

Just got a copy of my original CC application which I did tick to say I wanted PPI cover

but I also ticked another box to say I was self employed so correct me if I'm wrong while paying for PPI cover I would not have got a bean if I made a claim. Two questions...

Does it matter if I later became employed rather that self-employed?
What shoud I do next?
