Hello AA and Pompey,

I did notice Painty was not about before Xmas, so I pm'd her and she replied to me and told me that she was a bit busy on the job-hunting bit. She was ok and said she would be back, although I did think she would be back by now.

I agree she is extremely valuable to the ppi forum and is sorely missed

I think I've successfully added it UK

I should explain my absence: I'm looking for a new job, and have also been in the throes of a complicated insurance claim having had a bust pipe in my bathroom which flooded the living room ...

Almost sorted now, thank goodness, having learned an awful lot in the process, about insurance claims .

Happy New Year to you too. The claim is in process, expecting another pay out this week. I have to admit that although it's taken a long time (since September ), I have been well looked after. It's just the mess and work that gets you down.

As for the job front, keep watching

I await an update on your news ...

I just love the NE term Pet and the other one Man (even addressed to 18 month old toddlers) that my daughter uses all the time it makes me smile all the time as does my result with RBS.

Three claims with FOS and one with the Information Commissioners Office and all the rest of the Universe (see my Thread)

Result so far Two out of three complaints with the FOS upheld by the adjudicator. One is still outstanding in line with a complaint to the Information Commissioners Office which it appears is also upheld (see my thread).

I have recieved refunds on 7 out of 7 mis-sold PPI from Direct Line Financial Services X 4, and Royal Bank of Scotland X 3.

I have received all my paid premiums and the interest plus 8% Statutory interest less the tax.

Payment received before Christmas (Bonus) Payment on Loan reduced per month by a small amount but it all helps.

I will post the actual figures when I get the final result on FOS Complaint 3 and the Information Commissioners Office result.

I will not declare a success until I have the full result. Money requested to paypal to make a donation to CAG it will not be a great amount due to circumstances with car breakdown. Family care etc but a donation will be made.

How ya doing Painty
