Hi Kelly

Well done for sending your S.A.R - (Subject Access Request), that's the first step in re-claiming your PPI which I understand from the post above you feel has been 'mis-sold' to you, and which I would agree with BTW based upon the info you give.

Keep reading other people's threads together with the Stickies that are listed above the Threads and which list successes and helpful legislation.

When you receive your response from the Halifax, let us know what they say and we can take it from there.

You'll receive lots of support and helpful input from a number of individuals in this forum.

Perhaps start a new thread in the PPI forum to a different one and do not link it to the one you have then let this thread sink to the bottom of the forum thread pile which it will do over time. It is best to use a name that keeps you anonymous from prying eyes.

Also do not list account numbers, telephone numbers, addresses or any other personal information. If you have to post any copies of documents always blank out the personal details

Good luck in your new anonymous thread.

sorry about the duplication below.

Not 100% sure but I would suggest either a Private message to a member of the site team to see if they can do it. The only other suggestion I have is to start a completely new thread within the PPI forum and use an alias a completely new name. (I am not sure if you would have to re register with this approach).

Also do not link your existing thread to the new one in any way, never post personal details like address, telephone numbers or any account numbers. If you have to post documents to get advice always remove or black out the personal stuff.

Good luck on your new anonymous thread
