i can't get welcome finance to take dd payments

i took a personal loan out with wf and despite showing evidence that i had ppi insurance through a insurance company they still added ppi insurance.

i cancelled the ppi and had to resign the paperwork and to set up new direct debit instruction, despite this wf still did not debit my account for siw weeks. I receieved a phone call stating that i had missed payments totalling the original loan (including ppi) x six weeks. i contacted the area office and the missed payments were cancelled?

I was told that the ppi had not been cancelled despite attending the wf office to resign. i made arrangements to attend the office to resign and cancel the ppi again. I completed a new direct debit instruction and you won,t be to SURPRISED to learn that despite 2 months passing no payments have been made and according to my internet banking no direct debit has been set up.

I spoke to the local office and was told i have to set the direct debit instruction up again and that my payment are less than the agreement form states. I had a previous loan three years prior and the figure matches the new one quoted.

i have been with wf for five years now and bought two cars and had a couple of personal loans and never missed a payment, now i am wondering if this new personal loan exists as i have no account number and the they dont seem to contact me unless i contact them.

but i have committed myself to the loan and all i want to do is pay it back

Completely off topic for me, but I had similar problems with a car loan a couple of years ago and it turned out to be the bank not the loan company.

Have you tried to set up a Standing Order instead ?
