Smile Capita One And PPI Charges!

Hi there, i called Cap One last week asking why they were charging me ppi. I was told i signed for it. Now i know this to be untrue, because when i had it with an old card i had with them, they wouldnt pay out when i made a claim. So there was no way i was going to get it again. And anyway i am self employed and therefore to do not meet the conditions for ppi.The chap i was speaking to said he had the signed copy of my agreement infront of him,(unlikely as he didnt know i was going to call) so i requested he sent me a copy. They have sent me a photo copy of an agreement with my name and address typed at the top, but with no signature and no tick in the ppi box. Surely this is not a legally binding credit agreement? I am nowgoing to write to them requesting the refund it all to me.

Thanks Johnnymitch, i have read that somewhere on the cag site. I am self employed so dont meet terms and conditions for ppi, and after making a claim when i had it on an old car and being turned down, there was no way i would ever take it again.Have done letter and schedule of charges and will send tomorrow. Is only for a small amount, but its a lot for me, and will pay some of the bills.
