Hello Shammy,

Can you please stick to one thread, coz it is better to be able to read all of your post on one thread and you will get more help and advice

You can get photobucket from the internet free of charge. most caggers use it to download letter agreements etc. Please make sure that you omit all of you personal details

HI Guys,
What ge money have said is that my account was set up in 2001after a phone conversation with their telemarketing dept (dont recall that) and i had agreed to the cover.
Following that, the letter seems to follow the standard response paragraphs i have seen on here,eg 30 days to cancel and upgraded in 2004 sent new policy docs etc (new one on me) we can find no evidence of mis-selling so no refund.

Any ideas on how to reply to this guys ?

many thanks

Hello Shammy,

Did you send them a S.A.R - (Subject Access Request), is yes, write back and tell them that they have breached the Data protection Act by not sending you this information and you required a copy immediately.

If you have not sent a S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) do so

Hi Guys,
Just pondering on a thought about the three S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) requests and ccas ive sent, the only reply i have had is from citi cards asking me to fill in a form before they will send any info,(still cashed the tenner though)nothing from the others. It winds me up to think that these creditors and dcas send ranting letters telling you what they are going to do to you if you dont pay up,and when you bite back you can almost hear the brakes going on in their office, and the silence thereafter is almost palpable.
I think sites like this are worth their wieght in gold, and when you get the spies checking out this site to see what joe public is doing,I hope they see that the worm has turned and they are not going to get away with the strong arm tactics they are so used to....................... ...phew !................rant over !!!

Hi Guys
Latest update on my S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) . Had a reply from tesco cc saying they were sorry that i had a complaint as they vaue all their customers saying that they will look into my case asap.
What worries me about this, is that there was no mention of supplying me the info i requested under my S.A.R - (Subject Access Request),just that they would look into my case.
Is this just another tactic to slow things down ?

Hi, Shammy.

They have 40 days to comply with your S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) request. Afte that, if you've received nothing, send them this.........

Data Protection Act - Non-Compliance - Template Letters

Regards.

Scott.
