Therefore a business decision has been taken to refund the PPI with interest as a gesture of goodwill without admission of liability. Please find enclosed a cheque for £324.75 this being the remaining premium of £292.83 plus interest of £31.92. I have now paid of the loan in full. Thanks. | This looks good news for you, Have they paid off the loan balance with the refunded ppi and interest and are giving you the remaining balance as a cheque. Did they give you any interest of top of this, ie statutory at 8% or interest at the contractual interest rate of the loan. If they are not doing so, this would be an opportunity to ask for it, in full and final settlement of your claim. It is of course your choice. If you don't do spreadsheets, for the figures, either post them up on this thread or pm me and I will have a look for you.
Well done
