First of all I apologise if there is a similiar thread but the site is so huge to look through.
Anyway, I have been doing some digging and contacted a compnay who told me that they could get my PPI back in about 4 - 8 weeks. Deal done they said
Cost £500 up front plus 12% of what I get back!
Other companies are on a no win no fee basis.
What I struggle with is the different sales tactics that they have employed. I can't see how this is a deal done otherwise there would be a mass claim by everybody. They advise that all premiums would be refunded and one said that the whole amount of the PPI, sorry the balance would be sent to me by cheque.
Another said it would be a refund on the original agreement thus reducing the loan amount.
Sounds to good to be true
Does anybody have any experience of such companies out there? Has anybody used one?
It does sound attractive to employ one but I am not convinced about their assurances nor do I want to cough up any money up frot (I ain't got any!)
I know that I could possibly do it myself (having claimed back bank charges, which was very painless) but it seems to me that the PPI issue is a much more compliacted beast. Once again has anybody got anything back, specifically Paragon and Capital One
