Hello KOS

Can you give a bit more info, you say that you fell behind on payments, are you still making payment some payments now, toward the loan debt. and what is the balance owed.

Do you feel that you where mis-sold the ppi, if so they contributed to your indebtness by increasing the amount you have to pay back by mis=selling you the premium in the first place, claim it back.

Please read the ppi stickies to give you and idea of the process, and read the threads to get an understanding of how to reclaim it back.

sounds like your PPI is a monthly policy which would mean if you missed loan payments you also miss premium payments which means your ppi lapses. normally this is after 3 missed payments

Hello Kos,

Even if the debt was sold to another company and the balance has now been paid off. If the policy was mis-sold to you in the first place, you can reclaim it back.

You now have to start of the process by sending the Abbey a Full S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) to get the information that you need. It costs £10 but worth it.

Please have a look at this thread for the S.A.R - (Subject Access Request)

Full S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) for ppi
