Default Equita - Help!

OK I'm worried sick and would love some advice. I received 2 letters from Equita approx three weeks ago informing me that they have got a Warrant of Execution from Northampton County Court with regards to unpaid congestion charge.
I have emailed Equita asking to pay the total (approx 400 pounds) over 6 months.
Will a bailiff come smashing his way into my flat?!

Hi welcome to the forums.

Have you had any paperwork prior to the bailiffs contacting you?

They will persue the registered keeper at the address provided by the DVLA. Are your details up to date with the DVLA and were they correct at the time of alleged contravention?

You can get the forms here.

Have a look at this thread here. Different circumstances but the same advice still applies.

If you do not have a car or it is on hire purchase then you have very little to worry about. However, if you have a car then it will be clamped....that is a certainty.

If you did not receive a Notice to Owner then you can file an Out of Time declaration which will ensure that all bailiff enforcement will cease intil such time as the application has been determinded. This is approx: 2 months.
