Can I challenge this? No T-bar end of yellow, etc, etc

I think that I can challenge this and win due to the lines being illegal, but wanted to check with the experts (you guys) first

Basically, where I live in London, there is a residential road, which has a CPZ between 11am and 1pm. On this stretch of road, there are CPZ bays running the length of it, with a section of approx 15m in the middle which is a single yellow. I had my car parked half in a CPZ bay (I have the correct parking permit displayed), and the rear half of my car was on the single yellow. The ticket was issued during the CPZ working times.

Now, why I think I can challenge this.

This single yellow DOES NOT have a T-bar at either end. Must it have a T-bar no matter what the circumstances?

One end of the single yellow is actually a double yellow (the end my car was parked) which runs for approximately one meter. (It's some kind of left-over from when they changed it to a single yellow)

Should I just pay (I need to do so before Monday evening) or do I have a case here?
