The blue 'P' on its own indicates parking is for anyone with or without a permit for one hour at the times stated. If you received a code 30 'parking longer than permitted' its a valid PCN if you did indeed park over one hour. The reason you probably have not got a ticket before is probably just luck and depends on the area and the way its patrolled. To enforce a one hour bay requires writing down all the vehicles in the bay each time you visit and returning at regular 1hr intervals which may not be possible, or high on the PAs list of priorities (or he may just be lazy!). |
