Default HELP-PARKING EYE/Morrisons Car Park TICKET

Hello everyone - I'm new! However, I've been reading a lot of posts on this site for a few weeks prior to now.

I mentioned to a friend who recently received a ticket in Morrisons, courtesy of Parking Eye, that I thought I'd seen posts on this Forum from people who had successfully sent letters challenging the tickets.

I've beenb searching but can't find the posts I thought I'd seen, so if correct, I'd appreciate it if someone would guide me to the correct place for a template letter in order to do so.

Thanks in anticipation of such!

You beat me to it Mr Lex!!

Schmoopi- a very warm welcome to CAG!

Please also read the site rules and the FAQ's. A further couple of useful links are the How do I guide to the forum and the A to Z Index

Follow Mr Lexs' advice using the link he gave you. There is a tool bar at the top of the page with a search facility, that can be useful. Also, at the bottom of the page you will see a similar threads view. That can help the search.

Best of luck and enjoy yourself at CAG!!

schmoopie,

You can either ignore or use the templates. Personally, I find it more fun to use the templates. Tell your friend DON'T PAY and don't worry about it. By all accounts, Parking Eye as used by Aldi and others aren't terribly persistant, a few letters then all goes quiet.

Do tell everyone that you know about this scam, and how to beat it.

Hi everyone: I haven't posted recently as I discovered the friend who prompted me to join this Forum never actually received the ticket she was expecting!!

However, happy I did, as I have received a PCN from Parking Eye (Morrisons) myself!! - dated 2 June, arrived 9 June.

I've been, I thought, a bit clever by regularly driving (2 days a week, very carefully!) into Morrisons car park via the exit, so to confuse the camera! However, don't know what happened this time as I have PCN!

I know on one occasion I forgot & approached tthe entrance before realising & backing away, therefore camera probably did catch me. In that case perhaps I could state that, but they obviously have photo of me leaving later!

Should I ask for the photograph evidence, or wait for a reminder before responding in any way? Or should I simply say I wasn't driving?

Thanks for any advice...

It is NOT a 'PCN'. does it say it is a 'penalty'. if so you can have some fun !!

by all means take a photograph of the invoice and post it here (after removing your identifying details)

I would just ignore them completely - others like to write. Your choice.

It says 'penalty' - they are stuffed, well they were anyway but using that is so amateur.

my 'argument' would be to ignore them completely.

scroll up the thread for links and look at the stickies at the top of the forum,

by all means send a/the standard letters if you wish that is your call.
