No visible sign plates with single yellow line

I was parked close to Turnham Green LT stn yesterday on a single yellow, with my disabled badge & clock clearly displayed. Came back to a ticket. Parked the car at 2.10 with clock set, came back at 8.15. Ticket timed for "between 6.18 & 6.22". I looked around quite intently and there were no sign plates anywhere in that street showing the restricted times. Certainly in Harrow, my local borough, leeway is given if a Disabled clock overruns, but an obviously overzealous attendant in Hammersmith obviously wants to be picky - well so do I - NOW.

I know there are laws that stipulate the positioning and spacing of accompanying signs to show restricted hours- but I cannot track 'em down...

Going back there today with my camera before I write to Hammersmith...

Hope someone can point be in the right direction...

You may have been in a CPZ where sign plates are not required.
Look for signs at the entry points to the CPZ saying "CONTROLLED ZONE" they will have the relevant times on them.
You will then need to contact the council and ask for a copy of the TRO giving effect to the CPZ and the restrictions on disabled parking.

Thanks. I checked briefly as I left cos it was a CPZ, but as far as I recall there were no signs on the entry posts showing the restrictions for other than the resident's/ticket bays. Mind you, it was almost dark last night when I left there.

Like I said - I'm off with the camera...

Turnham green is actually in Hounslow and the CPZ operates until 19.00. Miffed you may be but leaving your car on a 3 hour restriction for six hours was pushing your luck.

My sentiments exactly, it appears that far to many people abuse the blue badge scheme and expect to get away with it.
