PCN with dodgy signature

Hey,

I was reading that in order to have a valid PCN the signature must be valid and at the very minimum display the initials of the person issueing the PCN.

The PCN I have has a small line and nothing else. Nothing to identify the agent who placed the ticket. (Except for the officer number ofcourse)

Does this make a good appeal? Its really annoying when you pay and display, your 10minutes late to the car and get fined for it, especially as you are more than willing to pay to park anyway!

I don't believe there is a requirement for a signature as long as the ticket can be traced by other means.
