Default PPC euro car parks & disabled drivers

hi
im wanting some advice about a parking charge notice from eurocarparks i received on saturday the 5-04 - 08 in the tesco car park s****horpe on the ticket the date looks like 9-04- 08 also there is no indication as to what i am supposed to have done ie
A) your vehicle was parked longer than the maximum period allowed
B) your vehicle was parked in a disabled bay without a valid disabled badge properly displayed
C) your vehicle was improperly parked to the inconvenience of other customers
D)the vehicle returned to the car park within hours of the previous visit
E) other
none of these boxes on the ticket have been marked off i was parked for approximately 2 hours and 40 mins the maximum stay being 2 hours i was also displaying a valid disabled badge & clock although not parked in a disabled bay as there were none available i thought i was allowed 3 hours parking under the disabled badge scheme

This is not the 1st time this has happened in Tesco's I'm afraid. There was very recently a similar case where a disabled driver & his whole family went shopping & for a meal in Tesco's. As a result they took more then 2 hours to complete their shopping.

They received a ticket & having got nowhere with Euro parks they complained to Tesco who according to press reports stated when asked "2 hours is quite long enough to complete your shopping"

Needless to say being a disabled driver myself neither members of my family or I shop at Tesco's now

This is essentially a private, 'scam' invoice and you do not have to pay. Read the stickies at the top of the parking forum for more information.

steve606, if you do not intend to pay the ticket, DO NOT CALL them, do not contribute any info. Sit tight, wait till they contact you and read Sticky on the top of this forum, it'll tell you everything you need to know.
