Hi.
I now have more info on the situation. She had an accident with her own car and her insurers wanted to write her car off. She would not accept that and had her car moved to a body shop who agreed to repair said car. The car that was on loan to her was from a company that was covered by a different insurer, but, she was using the car under the fully comp insurance for her own car.
She had a serious accident in the car that was on loan to her. This accident may be due to a medical condition that was unknown at the time of this accident. A claim is being made against her for personal injury by the third parties. Her insurers have agreed to cover her for everything accept the personal injury.
I have discussed this with my law tutor and she thinks her insurers are trying it on.
