These codes are actually out of date as they've changed a couple since differential parking penalties got introduced and at least one is no longer used and a couple of London only ones will be nationwide when the Traffic management act comes into force at the end of the month..

Penalty Charge Notice Contravention Codes - NPAS

...Is a bit more up to date, a PCN should however have the description on and not just the code. Codes 26 and 27 will I beleive be enforced outside London from April.
