Default Parking Ticket - Incorrect Registration ?
Hi, can anyone help?

I managed to get a ticket on saturday from wandsworth council for parking in a residents permit area for just over 5 mins whilst viewing a flat. The warden was walking away from the car as I got back

Anyway, I was filled with hope when I discovered that the first character of my car registration was incorrect on the ticket (it was a printed ticket).

Can anyone advise me how I stand on the issue? Is the ticket valid? I'm pretty sure they take photographs along with the ticket which is the thing that's bothering me.
It's says a £60 fine if paid in 14days before going up to £120!

They will not be able to pursue it.
They will contact the DVLA with the wrong reg no. It will come back null or with some poor sods details who will have to deal with it.
Even if they check with the photos there is not a lot they can do now.
