hello
i live in thurrock and have a yellow line outside the front of the house. the line is only inforce at 1pm to 2pm mon to fri. the council has had a perge of hitting cars in our road a few months back. There was a issue about the yellow line not having the t bar at the end also there was an issue that the yellow line should follow the curb. in our road the line doesnt have the t bar. but also has the yellow line going from left to right aswell as along the curb!
i wrote to the council and they sent a letter saying its a small mistake but the tickets are still valid...... by the time we sent a letter and the repply we got back we was out of the 28 day appeal to NPAS. The council has now sent our tickets to the county court in northampton
question is this.....
will NPAS still deal with an case thats gone this far? doubt it......
Who and how can i get a judgment on the road marking
can i appeal still even after the county court has sent a order?
this is a tall order but if there is a case that the lines are un enforcable could we get back any monies that was paid on some of the tickets. we paid some as one of the cars was on loan to us and was unfair for the owner to have to pay.......
