Default any chance of winning

hello
i live in thurrock and have a yellow line outside the front of the house. the line is only inforce at 1pm to 2pm mon to fri. the council has had a perge of hitting cars in our road a few months back. There was a issue about the yellow line not having the t bar at the end also there was an issue that the yellow line should follow the curb. in our road the line doesnt have the t bar. but also has the yellow line going from left to right aswell as along the curb!
i wrote to the council and they sent a letter saying its a small mistake but the tickets are still valid...... by the time we sent a letter and the repply we got back we was out of the 28 day appeal to NPAS. The council has now sent our tickets to the county court in northampton
question is this.....

will NPAS still deal with an case thats gone this far? doubt it......

Who and how can i get a judgment on the road marking

can i appeal still even after the county court has sent a order?

this is a tall order but if there is a case that the lines are un enforcable could we get back any monies that was paid on some of the tickets. we paid some as one of the cars was on loan to us and was unfair for the owner to have to pay.......

would i need to send the photos to tec the main photo is of the yellow line looking like a H shape as the line goes along the curb but also from left to right..... i would post a photo and show you but for some reason i carnt load photos from my pc. When i spoke to the guys in charge of the traffic section at the council he said it sounds odd what i told him about the lines going from left to right. we sent him photos to show him and they took so long to reply in a letter and then said its a small mistake. i wrote back and asked them to show me in the road traffic regulation that allows the line to form a H shape. he said its too late now as its gone to country court

Hi james C

No photo's are or proof befor council can retify there mistake, and you show them at an appeal hearing.

What stage is this PCN at, can you scan remove personnal details then post PCN NtO and charge Certificate if it has reached this stage. will be able to help more. Also have a look at the following threads

Has Anyone Reclaimed Paid PCN this ones mine

Restitution. PCNs County Court orders restitution of £2500

and this one
