Default Next Directory

Hi i have had a Next Directory account for over two years i have placed orders recieved them and paid my bill on time, last september my little girl died and the last thing on my mind was bill's eventually i informed them and as i was off work for then not knowing how long i was going to be off had reduced payment's until i returned to work.My statements were showing zero for current limit then it went to £120.00 and recently current limit became£1500, so having not placed an order for so long i thought i would place one last week ,when two day's later i recieved a letter stating my order was refused due to a credit check with Equifax ,so i decided to call them and find out what was going on i was told my credit agreement had been changed and they were clamping down on account's and although i still have a balanceof £180.00 when i clear that off it will become a cash only account ,now i have had no written confirmation of this change had i not called them i would not have any of this knowledge and why would i want to keep the account if it's cash only and i can go to my local store and purchase what i require from there instead of being charged £3.50 for delivery and waiting fot it for two day's????? I have no idea, so i called back and asked them to take the intrest off and if Equifax held any thing on me that it did not happen over night and why was my account opened in the first place and it's been up and running for over two years any way to cut a very long story short they wont take intrest off and i asked her if i have an account she said "no" i asked had they changed the agreement she said "yes" then when i said so i dont need to pay it as you've just said i have no account accused me of putting word's into her mouth , so i asked to speak to a supervisor she was busy so i gave up in the end and told them that three members of staff had fed me three lot's of lies and would take it further they told me my acount is reviewed every three month's so it was reviewed on the 4/06/07and on the 5/06/07 they basically have changed the terms of agreement . Any how sorry for ranting on any advise would be apprciated xxxx romeo0
