What your statutory rights say is that you have a "reasonable" period of time to reject unsatisfactory goods. "short" or "reasonable" is not however specifically defined. Me personally, I would say "hell yeah" if such an expensive TV fails within 2 weeks, that is reasonable.
Depending on where you bought it from, they may well have a return policy on top of your statutory rights, but in any case, I would return it, yes. Make sure you specify that you are rejecting the goods under the Sales of Goods Act, and ask for a replacement (or refund if they can't provide you with replacement).
