Angry Monument help!
They've come back to me and basically said they'll only give me £24 back out of the £96 I am claiming as they only owe me £48 as they've already refunded the others in the past (which I have yet to confirm as I haven't checked but don't remember it. However they have said that if I basically go ahead and sue then it means I don't want to be bound by their terms and conditions any more and therefore it would mean closing the account which means I am responsible for the outstanding balance. I can't afford that and I'm assuming they're just playing scare tactics but can they do this, could they close the account?

more than likely they would withdraw credit facilities but still send you a statement each month. They would be pretty unlikely to go to court to pursue the money if you cannot pay the full balance, they would just accept a payment arrangement
