Default Partnership John Lewis

Hello board, has anyone had any dealings with Partnership John Lewis? I have a credit card with them and missed my monthly payment by a day due to the fact their website constantly logs me out and wouldn't allow me to use the form to setup a direct debit. So been charged by yet another money grabbing organisation.

My first approach will likely be to give them a call and ask for the repayment to be reversed.

Failing that I will send a letter.

Thanks Lou, I have made an advanced search and unfortunately returned no results.

On a separate note I just wanted to know whether John Lewis Partnership card are allowed to charge me £3.50 a pop for a cash advancement withdrawal from a hole-in-the-wall?

I have a fair few of these for withdrawing the max limit a few days in a row to transfer into a different account. I probably could've done this over the phone and saved myself time and money, but unfortunately I am phone shy when it comes to banks!

Im almost sure the £3.50 charge is legal, cash withdrawal charges are expensive but legal as you are paying for a service to get money out.

Im sure John lewis is on here somewhere, I might have a look when i get a minute spare...

I am still unable to find another case from anyone on these forums, however I have just received my statement and scoured the pages to find an address (these financial services are so illusive) and can just see the registered office. For all and sundry:

John Lewis Partnership,
North Street,
Winkfield,
Berkshire,
SL4 4TD

Also just to end, John Lewis Financial Services is a member of the HSBC Group.

I think that HFC now deals with the finance for John Lewis storecards. Sorry but I don't have their contact details but I'm pretty sure that I have seen other claims to to them on this site.

John Lewis Partnership's Head Office address is:

John Lewis Partnership
Partnership House
Carlisle Place
London
SW1P 1BX

The John Lewis card group are now under the umbrella of HSBC bank (they term it as a partnership).

HFC bank have also been taken over by HSBC bank and now tend to go under the name of Household bank.

Don't bother applying for this card if you have a good credit rating. They have "confidential" criteria which basically means that if you pay your debts on time and have no loans they will turn you down for a card. It appears they want people who are going to make them lots of money in interest by getting into debt, which I guess is the business they are in. The card "partnership" is however giving the John Lewis brand nothing but a bad name.
