| | Basic Account Customer | Re: any help with N Power! Hi Danler, yeah have rang n power about readings have phoned BG (new supplier) about meter readings, n power say they havent recieved them BG say they havent recieved them, feel as tho am going round in circles, also, (while im ranting!lol) you have to phone their premium rate number and am left on hold for 20-30 mins at a time!! have phoned about 7 times regarding this and am running out of steam, have got the letter yesterday saying about court proceedings, and also interest will be calculated at 8% per annum, AND costs of the action are also being added to the amount due AND copy of the summons will be served by the court in due course which will include additional costs of £120.00, was going to phone first thing monday morning but am not sure what to say and what my rights are, am i entitled to say naff off and take me to court, feel a little outa my depth really, also about the readings, apparently my lecy meter was set wrong (by n power) and the readings are far too high in any case, (which is why BG were getting 'specialist team' to ring me)
Thanks |

| | Basic Account Customer | Re: any help with N Power! Hi Lesken
Just remember the account is in dispute so mention this to Moorcroft, also deffently get in touch with Energywatch and watch N-Power squirm, they know that the account is in dispute but have handed this to a debt collection agency, Energywatch will not like this. Email them, send them letters and telephone them - record the telephone call if you can.
When you get in touch with Energywatch give them details of when you telephoned them - copies of your phone bill if you still have them and all the emails and letters that you have sent to them, also everything that you have sent to British Gas. Keep me posted please.. I know eventually that my bill will go in the same way..
Have you tried to estimate your own bill yet???
It's now September and I am expecting my 6 monthly bill off them, I'll let you know when I recieve it and I'll keep you posted with what happens - probably the same as usual, but maybe they might get it right and I have to pay them...
I've worked out that I owe them about 387 pounds but the last bill that they sent was for about 700.
I now have a new problem with my new supplier, my digital display went faulty and went back to 000000, I don't know how long this had gone on for but when I phoned them they installed a new meter and said we'll estimate it from previous readings. I am now wondering to challenge them about their faulty equipment and change suppliers or pay the bill...
Regards
Louise |
