Retaliatory action by banks/building societies is against the code of practice. They should not close accounts, but they do. Other than reporting them is there anything else that can be done?

Does anyone else have issues with the Norwich and Peterborough?

I don't A & L care about the Code of Practice. Guess you can report them and take it from there. Sorry can't be of further help.

N&P have just closed my account 18 days before they said they would!! Interestingly they have also cleared the account to £0 as it was overdrawn by £200 becasue of all there charges. This all occured after I sent the LBA. I did not agree to this and have recieved a reply to my LBA saying they have no record of my complaint!

I will be phoning up tomorow!

Any advice would be apreciated.
