Thumbs down NHS24--Who's Empire

This NHS24 caper really steals the biscuit. I thought it was contrived to get a doctor to sick people when local GP surgery was closed. Straight and simple. But no, this has transpired to become an Empire, with usual Heads that won't respond to questions
They have line managers (my daughter tells me this is new speak for GAffer). There is no reasoning with these moronic creatures as I think they are programmed only to give standard answers, irrelevant of the circumstances.
Under NO Circumstances raise your voice or argue with them, as these little boys may log you for ABUSE. Pity they didn't start their working life under a good old farm gaffer. Like everything else nowadays, everyone is there to give useless advice instead of rolling up their sleeves and getting on with the most efficient method of curing a problem. Think GP's nowadays earn enough to justify them rotating an out of hours service.
NHS24--just another drain on NHS resources.

I haven't had to call on this service, but I've been thinking for a while now that GP's are forever complaining of their workload so why can't they accept lower wages, and use the extra money employing more doctors in their practice. Perhaps then there would be enough of them to provide an out of hours service to their patients. Bet they wouldn't go for that!
