Kurt,
The people who assess your DLA claim at the DWP are NOT I repeat NOT medically qualified or trained.
They only look at how YOU state you are disabled by the conditions from which you suffer. They do not, in my experience, read, let alone understand, any medical reports that you send to them UNLESS these categorically state what you can or cannot do AS OPPOSED to a non-disabled person.
The fact you've been on Incap etc means sweet FA to them. Your conditions mean the same. They will ONLY focus on what you can and can't do. Simple.
So this is what you need to concentrate on.
I know it's irksome, I know it's unfair. I've been there, as you will see from my previous posts and I finally won through, but it was a long and hard struggle and it took a long time.
Their argument is always that two people can have a condition and it will affect each of them differently, therefore disabling each of them to a different degree.
I'm glad you are in fighting mood. You will need to be. I'm there right behind you, along with the good people on this forum.
Keep us posted?
