Default Help Required - All settled but want defaults removed

Hi,
I have now accepted full and final settlement against NatWest and have received the money. However 3 months on I have checked my credit report and there are 3 defaulted accounts: 1 Current a/c, 1 credit card and 1 loan. All of these show up as defaulted which doesn't do my credit file any favours. How do I go about getting them removed?

Thanks

Can you let us know what amount of charges were made against these accounts AT THE TIME OF THE DEFAULTS....?

Not simply the overall figures, if these are different...

Also, the amount you were defaulted for....

Thanks

Default Re: Help Required - All settled but want defaults removed

The background is a bit tricky but I will try to explain it as best I can.

I had a NatWest loan and NatWest current account which I defualted on in 2002. It was transferred to their credit recovery centre where I made monthly payments up until February last year which is when I settled the accounts in full. At the time it was transferred back in 2002 I had accrued penalty charges of £1200.

On checking my latest credit report it shows that the current account was defaulted in Feb 2006 with a defualt amount of £87 and the loan account was defualted for £64 also in Feb 2006. I was not issued with a default notice, nor had I defualted at this point. Feb 2006 was when I actually settled the account.

Thanks

OK - seems they have failed to notify you of the defaults so there is one issue there that can help you. You MUST receive an official notice.

The second issue just needs a little more clarification please...

The records say you defaulted on the account, or the loan, or both?

On which? The account or the loan?

You most certainly have reason for these being removed, we just need to work out which is best...
