hello all, i`ve just received an offer on a settlement of charges to my business account from nat west, [private should be with me before the deadline on the 16/june/2007,after contacting them by phone to find out what, if anything was happening] however their figures differ from mine as to less than half for business and less than a third for the private accounts,[in nat wests favour of course] i`ve sent all three letters, detailed my total of charges, and now feel the only course of action is through the courts, but first i intend to write asking for a detailed account as to how they reached their figure so i can compare this with mine, is this a good idea or should i just go ahead and start court action? i would like to hear from anyone who has a shared experience or could offer any information as to what to do next, thankyou for your time, hopo.

Hi as long as you have claimed the correct amount and the correct charge types eg DD etc then I would advise you to file your court claim. As long as you have given them the required timeframe you are within your rights to file a court claim, dont forget to include the interest and court fees now.
