Default NatWest / Eversheds Repossesion

Sorry if this is in the wrong place..if so maybe one of the mods etc can help and move it to where it should be.

I am looking for some advice fo my partner, several years ago they had there home repossed (joint mortgage with them, their sister and their sisters now ex husband) as their sister and ex husband no longer work it is down to them to re-pay the whole outstanding debt approx £20,500. Over the last year they have received letter from Eversheds (are these a DCA or a solicitor acting for the bank as we are unsure) saying that they would accept 4,500 (12 months ago) as full and final settlement over the year at roughly 3 month intervals this amount has reduced to £2,500 we do not have this amount or anything near it.

we would like to make a full and final settlement but need help in going about this any help advice would be greatly appeciated

I'm subscribing to this thread.

Don't know what to suggest at the moment but something may come to me overnight. there is something jiggling about at the back of my head...

I'll see if it will pop out after a night's sleep.
