Can I get a mortgage with a bad credit rating?

Help Please,

I am on a suspended possession order which i have not missed a payment on for the last 11 months. My 2 year deal with SPML/.Capstone is ending in November 08 and my deal then goes to LIBOR +4% eg payments go from £629 to £851 which will be a struggle. Cant get a re mortgage as i have 3 CCJ's recorded in the last 2 years,one of which is paid in full.Anyone got any ideas on how to get of of this mess? I only got this way cus of illness and i am so worried? Can i go back to court and vary the order? any ideas

If you simply google adverse credit mortgages you can search a wide range of products.

I know Manchester Building Society are offering adverse 80% LTV @ 6.49%

Broker just off the phone. Been offered a deal with Coventry . Fixed 3 years @ 7.39 fee £999 . It would save us about £100 a month and get Redstone off our backs for good.

Manchester don't lend in scotland.........

This is the only deal that we have been offered , other broker came up with nothing.

cant find anyone to take us on for love or money because RBS who we pay a reduced amount have placed us in default in AUG.We are totally screwed now just feeling like giving up,i can find anyone to take us on. Manchester declined us because of the default , Coventry because we had only got 66% equity in the property and they want 60%.

Anyone got any ideas?

yeah have tried both John Charcoal and mortgage force.
John Charcoal never called me back and mortgage force told me that i failed credit a Birmingham Mid-shires because of RBS putting me in to default in August.

I don't know what to do really don't but one answer is that i going to pay plan to get me finances sorted , then see what happens.

It seems that 2 ccj and 12 payment history , even though in in arrears and you cant get anyone to take you on.

It sorta make me think the government use my money to bail of banks, and me because of illness fall behind. SO instead of using my money to Bail out bank why cant they push money our way to people who in trouble with there mortgage instead of making the fat cats fatter.

They wont because they don't care about real people the government that is.

Sorry for the rant but i had to get it off my chest, if any ones got any ideas i will try them.

Have you tried googling for bad credit mortgages? You might find a specialist broker who can help. But beware of the fees and make sure you don't let them do multiple credit searches on you! It can affect your score!

Same situation here, my partner has a good credit rating but I have a poor one with 5 defaults, we got an application in principle from Nationwide so put a holding deposit down and Nationwide withdrew the offer yesterday. The mortgage broker is going to try another lender. Am heart broken, have found my dream home and am at risk of losing it and our holding deposit because Nationwide revoked the offer.

Have made a note of the phone numbers for Shire and mortgage warehouse and see what they have to say if the second attempt at high street mortgage says no as well.
