Will we have problems getting a Mortgage

Hi Guys
Any advice would be great

we did have a Mortgage which was Ended 2006 and all was good there was no missed payments etc the account was conducted in a very good way

however our problem is we do have a couple of defaults against us which we are dealing with, ignoring letters is a bad idea i know

now we would like to get on the property market again we have about 25% Deposit to put down so as i have said will we have problems getting a mortgage?

I think there are still a few companies that you will be able to get aq mortgage from . We got a copy of our credit report ( which shows just what state of repair it is in ) If you missed morthgage payments I think this only shows for 12 months on your file. It sounds that you sold up and had no mortgage for a while . The problem is if you have to go down the sub-prime then the rates are higher. A good broker should be able to help you..........

my advice would be go to an independant broker you will get a mortgage.
