Thumbs up Lucycat vs. Halifax - Part Two: 'The Mortgage Years...'

Hello all!

Having had such a positive result earlier this week I'm keen to press ahead with pursuing some of the other charges the bloke has had applied to various accounts over the last few years, starting with Halifax mortgage arrears charges (erm, among others - I've had my most productive Sunday afternoon for years!) :O)

S.A.R. will be off in the post in the morning - wish me luck, and I'll keep you posted!

Lucy.

Hello Lucycat,

The Halifax are pussycats, they'll give you no trouble. Follow the thread in my signature to see how I claimed from them. Feel free to use the prelim letter and money claim particulars when the time comes.

Best of luck

Zoot

Bless you, thanks very much for the support Zoot!

It's very nice to 'meet' you too, as I've been reading your threads with great interest as I'm going to be tackling the Halifax for my step-dad's mortgage ERC shortly - I'm sure your letters and the MC details will come in very handy! :O)

All the best,

Lucy.

Thumbs up Re: Lucycat vs. Halifax - Part Two: 'The Mortgage Years...'

Received a letter yesterday thanking me for my request for a list of transactions and charges and confirming they had been ordered and would be sent out under separate cover...a mere month and a day after they cashed the cheque for same!

They're really going to have to pull their fingers out now to get it to me before the 40 day deadline - already have a Data Protection Act non-compliance letter printed out and ready to roll!
