I am a bit concerned that you are advising people to txt to the maddie fund when only 53p will be taken from the £1 charged to the donators mobile phone, surly a site as large as your self could setup a Justgiving - the easiest way to fundraise and donate to charity online account for the fund were all the procides go to the people concerned, were as in this case 47p of every £1 is going to someone who is profiting from it.

I take the point completely. People should reflect on how fundraising is organised.
Unfortunately, although we may seem to be a large organisation, we are very poorly resourced. We have a great team of volunteers but we are fully stretched and we would not be able to undertake any kind of fundraising project.
I do have to make the point that once again it is the continuing parasitic lawlessness by British banks and other institutions which are taking up so much of the resources of groups like our own and which divert attention and energy away from other much more deserving matters.
