Barclays settling these - claim your costs it seems that there may be eight or more cases which have been transferred to the mercantile court. The intention was to hear them altogether is a group test case.
No surprises of course, that Barclays has started to settle them rather than go to court.
If you receive an offer of settlement from Barclays -- then don't forget that because the claim is on the multitrack, you are entitled to your costs.
CPR 48 says that the litigate acting in person can claim their reasonable costs at a rate of £9 25 per hour.
You should think seriously about the amount of time that you have spent since she began your claim. Be reasonable and don't get greedy. That you may find that you have quite easily spent between 20 and 30 hours reading, preparing and writing letters and photocopying and so forth.
You may want to add this to your claim.
