  1. I don't believe I did actually. (I've had a quick look).
  2. Hi, I received a call today from Barclay's specialist complaints team to advise me they have removed the default from my file as it was entered incorrectly. It should have been entered in 2009. I was not expecting this and had not chased it following my email to Mr Roemer in June. I will make a donation to the site to say thank you for your help not only with this but with other matters too. Thank you all again. :-)
  3. Thanks for the reply, Bazinga. & also for the information DX.
  4. Thanks Micheal. I think I may be onto a losing battle but will give it a try and making an informal appeal, as I won't affected the discounted rate being offered by the council. Will let you know how I get on.
  5. Hi Jamberson, I really appreciate your reply. I was hoping there was a slim chance that Michael was incorrect. I have uploaded a photo of the time restrictions for SYL sign here: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2hd5q52&s=9
  6. Thank you for replying. Oh no. The fact the sign which advises of the time restrictions being tampered with, won't help at all? Also any ideas how to edit a post? I can't seem to find the edit botton.
  7. Hi Bazinga, Did you receive a response at all to your email? I am in a similar position and would be interested to know how you got on.
  8. Hi I have recently noticed that there is a late payment marker on my credit file from EE/Tmobile, dated September 2011. The account is still open, as I am still a customer of theirs. Does this mean that the late payment will continue to show, until I close the account + 6 years after? Or will the late payment disappear in September 2017, despite the account remaining open? Will this have a negative impact of my credit files / application for a mortgage when I am in a position to apply for a mortgage? Thank you for reading, Abby
  9. Hi I received a PCN for being 'Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours'. In front of my car where I have parked, there are bays which allow you to park without a permit. Behind my vehicle, to the left, there are bays for permit holders between 1 - 3 only. I have parked on a single yellow, as I have done many times (and was advised that legally I could do so, as the yellow line was broken, by a parking enforcement officer himself many months ago) Are there any grounds of appeal? The yellow signage above where I have has been tampered with and read 1 to as opposed to 1 to 3. I don't know whether this would help my appeal at all? The parking enforcement officer had taken a photo of my permit (which had expired) so I can only assume I received a ticket on this basis. I would really appreciate any help to appeal this ticket. Many thanks, Abby
  10. Thanks for your reply. I had told him that - He was hoping they would show some leniancy. I dread him going out of the home... More often than not returns with a PCN, usually for a bus lane contravention!
  11. Hi All I hope you can help. Received a PCN in post for: 02 parked or loading / unloading in a restricted street where waiting and loading / unloading restrictions are in force. Davenant Street, E1 at 11:58 My dad had stopped there to check the signs to see whether he could park and when he saw he could not he returned to his car and left. PCN Images and recording I've obtained timings of: 11:59:02 until 12:00:35 Is there any way this could be appealed at all? I have just noticed the time of the PCN notice sent by post is incorrect (by 1 minute!) Does this make a difference at all? Thank you
  12. Does that mean with regards to my Halifax account, an earlier default should have been entered? In Aug 09, 3 late payments were recorded, Sept, Arrangement to Pay & in Nov - April 10, 3 late repayments have been recorded and then default recorded in May 2010. Should the default have been recorded in Feb 10?
