  1. Went to court today was bad I assume these letters work on smaller amounts as deterant, but probably will not work in court or on bigger amounts ? I have put these questions in the forum: how do judges see the fact that we dispute the validity of the debt, if we show that they have not produced what we asked for? Can a judge come up with something contradictory to that and say that we have to service the debt?? can he show another law ? Won't they say : you took the loan/card, you have to pay it, an d why do u think u dont have to pay it??? Anybody has experience/success with that in court, or once we g to court we are doomed? I tried to look in the success stories to see if someone won in court The problem was that before I got to this website i admitted the debt, and negotiated with them, so I didnt produce a new defence, because I did nt even know that the hearing is on. And the judge was pretty severe, he agreed to adjourn gave us 7 days only to put a prepare a defence but fines us 800 in solicitors costs. I don know if we can appeal the cost, and we told him but there is no costs awarding in small claims and he said, ya but it has not been allocated to any track... So I am going to send copies of all the letters that we sent and the estoppel and I thought to put a counter claim in, against the dca, after billing them. I forgot to ask the judge if needed permission to counter claim at this stage. (We showed the judge all the letters we wrote, and the letters that it is on hold, but their solicitor showed a later letter saying they are instructing the solicitors to goto court So I am wondering if once u go to court, u r lost, or I assume it depends on the judge. Thanks very much for your help I appreciate it
  2. I sent letter 3 plus section 10 notice plus intent ofestoppel, got a response from the dca telling me to send £1 to cca requests, for 77/78 request. I suppose I just do nothing for now and wait for the next letters, to issue estoppel? Thanks
  3. got 2nd charge mortgage, on repayment basis, only 23% of each payment goes to capital payment, the rest is interest. How can I challenge this, I think I am being robbed here, I was thinking of contacting the ombudsman about it. Is there anything else I can do? Any template letters to send to them? Any help / suggestions, will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
