  1. Thank you Margaret. It was a first offence. I am already repaying Housing Benefit I'm just worried I'm not going to be able to afford to live and with 3 children to feed I'm worried sick.
  2. I'm not going to cancel it. I'll just say I've lost it and need a new one. I've lost a card before and they've sent a new one so shouldn't be a problem.
  3. The account is in my name only. I need to keep this account as have a overdraft that is in arrears so I'll just cancel the card and notify them not to accept payment. Thank you for your help
  4. I'm hoping this is the right section. Bit of a background and please don't judge me. I was convicted of benefit fraud in November last year. My partner is leaving me and so I need to reclaim benefits. Firstly, will I be able to do this? Secondly, his car is registered at my address? Can I get this changed? I don't trust him to do it and the last thing I need is for DWP to think he's living here because of that. His wages normally go into my account but he says he's changed that so hopefully he's telling the truth. Also, he's on the electoral roll at my address and all his post comes here. What can I do about that? Any help appreciated!
  5. Just sent the email so will see if I get a reply or anymore letters
  6. Thank you, will get that done first thing Monday morning
  7. What do I need to state in the email to sky? And shall I just ignore this letter from Past Due?
  8. Not sure where this belongs so please move if needed. Received a letter off Past Due this morning regarding a Sky account. I last had Sky at a previous address 2 years ago and called to cancel my contract before moving as my new property wasn't permitted a sky dish. As far as I was aware the lady on the phone said my contract would be cancelled in 30 days time. I've now received this letter stating I owe £189. Considering my sky package was roughly £30/£40 a month, I don't see how they've got this amount? Any suggestions as to what I do now?
  9. Ok thank you very much. Does the balance have to be settled in 5 payments to avoid a CCJ? Is it even worth submitting a defence? I don't know what to do now. This debt was from an ex of mine ordering from my catalogue without my knowledge but obviously I can't prove that
  10. Also I cannot afford to pay it outright. Would they still allow me to set up a payment plan of £5-£10 a month as that is all I can afford? Or shall I wait and see the outcome of the SAR and CCA?
  11. But it isn't last known address that's what I don't understand. I have my current address, they've written to me here. I have my previous address where the credit agreement was and they've written to me there. The address that they have written to was before that so surely they can't use a very old address when they know current addresses?? So do I not submit a defence?
