  1. Man in the middle, thanks for the info, that’s the information I’ve been struggling to find anywhere on line, after the weekend I shall telephone the local authority and ask them to withdraw the charges on the basis they are out of time I shall also offer to pay the FPN I was issued and hopefully draw it to a conclusion. I will update when I have more information , many thanks
  2. Ok thanks I’ll call the local authority Monday morning and post how I got on , so would you agree it’s out of time? Or am I missing something!!

  3. Hi thanks for replying, the posting date is 30th November 23 , charge date also 30 th November 2023
  4. Any SJP has to be laid before the courts within 6 months of the date of offence, that’s the rule on the government website even for littering
  5. Good afternoon everyone, on the 10th of may this year I was given a FPN for littering (dropped a cigarette) .Wrong I know but there you go. Through out the summer I spend a lot of time away from home at our holiday home. whilst I was away 2 reminders were sent to me and to honest I totally forgot about it, last week I received a SJP , what I need to know is the time limits on these, the information is Offensive committed on 10th may , postings date 30th November, charge date 30th November, this over the 6 month deadline could anyone clarify this please as I have limited time to respond to the notice and should I seek legal advice if it's out of time, thanks
  6. Ok thanks all, I’ll let you know how I get on ,
  7. Hi thanks, that’s more like language I understand I can’t open the above file
  8. Hi , thank you all for your replies, if it were a simple uk claim I’d have no problems but I can’t get my head around the Scottish claim scenario, and reading any information on it I think you need to be a barrister to understand it
  9. Good morning, it’s all now looking a bit complicated now, I will probably have to instruct a solicitor and if that’s the case it’s hardly worth bringing a claim
  10. Good evening everyone, been a while since I’ve posted, finding it a bit difficult to navigate the site, I’m currently experiencing problems with Scottish power regarding a balance refund of all most £1500 , this complaint has been going on now for almost 2 years, I’ve been through the whole complaint process with SP to no avail I went to the ombudsman who eventually found in my favour, SP hasn’t implemented the ombudsman’s decision in the time frame given plus 14 days, I now need to start a small claims against SP , my concern is making a claim from England to a Scottish based company, is there any thing I need to do differently and an address to send a letter before claim would be good or is it their head office in Glasgow, Thanks
  11. Thanks for that HB looks very nice , but so do most loan shark websites, has anybody had any experience with them being a mortgage provider. Also I am about to try and reclaim my charges back from GE , where do I stand now?
  12. Hi , I'm in the same situation got a letter from ge telling me my mortgage was being transferred to engage credit, only gave me 5 days notice. Never heard of them, who the hell are they and can they be as bad as ge any info would be great .Thanks
  13. Hi,hope you haven't paid the full balance on his fitting fee.As a fitter myself and been in the trade 25 years ,the finish looks very amateur, even reading the quote, not much detail in that.make a remedial list of everything you want putting right,at his expense, and don't pay anymore money to him as he looks like a cowboy and with ill fitted bathrooms the real problems don't start showing for a while.good luck
